Leitrim's third match in this year's Hastings Cup is away to Roscommon on Saturday.

Leitrim have lost both their games in the competition to date but they delivered a very encouraging performance in their second outing, against Ulster champions Cavan, last weekend.

This match was played under lights at Pairc Naomh Mhuire, Cloone and the hosts dominated much of proceedings only to be let down by some poor finishing.

In the end, they slipped to a narrow 0-10 to 0-6 defeat in a match they could have won.

The team is off to Hyde Park this weekend, confident no doubt that they can get a result if they show more composure. Tweet
