IFC Quarter Final: Well done to the Drumkeerin lads who were victorious against Ballinaglera in the Intermediate football Championship quarter final after a fantastic second half display in Drumshanbo on Sunday.It was surely a game of two halves. Ballinaglera were completely on top in the first half, the half time score being 1.7 to 0.1. However Drumkeerin dominated the second half while Ballinaglera failed to score leaving the final score Drumkeerin 2.7 Ballinaglera 1.7. Drumkeerin will progess to the semi-final against near rivals Dromahair. Hard luck to Ballinaglera who put in a fine performance and we wish injured players Padraig Cornyn and Brendan Mc Gourty a speedy recovery.

JFC: Best of luck to the Junior team who will take on Ballinamore this week-end in the quarter-final. Please check fixtures for the time and venue.

MFC: The minors bet Melvin Gaels last Wednesday in the pitch on a scoreline of 3.10 to 0.6. They play Leitrim Gaels this evening (Wednesday) in Leitrim village. A win will guarantee them a spot in the final so best of luck lads and please support!

U-14s: Hard luck to the under 14s who were defeated by Aughnasheelin last Friday in the pitch.

U-8 & U-10s Blitz: Thanks to Glencar/Manorhamilton club for coming up to Drumkeerin on Thursday evening last to participate in the U-8s and U-10s football blitz which was enjoyed by all.

Minor Ladies: The minors went down to Aughlin Gaels last Tuesday in the pitch and were away to Mohill yesterday evening (Tuesday).

U-12s girls: The girls will take on Glencar/Manorhamilton this Thursday in a challenge match in preparation for the A final. The game will take place at 7 in Drumkeerin so girls please be at the pitch at 6.30.

Table Quiz: The third table quiz which took place in Wynnes Bar on Sunday night was a huge success. Well done to Rosaleen Dolan, Eamonn, Bernie and Barry Brennan who were on the winning team. Thanks to Wynnes Bar, Dessie Wynne Auctionneer, Padraig Fallon, Breffni Store, Seamus Gallagher, John Joe Byrne and May Dally for kindly sponsoring the prizes. Also thanks to Wynnes for hosting the event and providing such tasty food. Finally thanks to Gabriel Flynn for once again doing a fantastic job as quizmaster. The fourth and final quiz will take place in Davitts Bar next Sunday night so please support.

Lotto: The club lotto took place on Saturday night and unfortunately there was no jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 2, 6, 17, 26. Well done to Alan Foley, New York who won
€100 in the yearly lotto ticket raffle and the €20 winners who were Bridie Maguire, Dromahair, Robert Boyle, Aughacashel, Francis Mc Morrow, Tarmon, Ursula Forde, Drumkeerin and Karen Guihen, Arigna.
