Leitrim County Board officers are due to meet with Mickey Moran and John Morrison.

Members of the executive will sit down with the outgoing senior county management duo to discuss their plans for the future of Leitrim football. With a decision yet to be made on whether to re-appoint the Ulster pair, the meeting will go some way towards resolving the situation.

At Monday's Board meeting in Carrick-on-Shannon, officers told delegates that they will meet the management team and the players to get their views on recent league and championship campaigns and to gather views on how best to formulate plans for the future.

It's understood that Moran and Morrison are keen to stay on. The Board hopes to have an appointment made within a fortnight to coincide with the start of the club championships. Tweet
