Division 2 league.
We had a good win over Glenfarne in Belcoo on Saturday last. Missing a few players the whole team including subs put in a great performance and battled well till the very end. Some great tackling & blocking by our backs ensured a good supply of ball to our forwards who kicked some great points especially Colin Maguire, Tosh & Conor Bohan with a great point from veteran Fintan Mc Brien near the end to ensure victory. Final score Aughavas 10 points Glenfarne 8 points.
We have no game this weekend so training for all as usual.

St Josephs Ladies.
First big game of the year this Sunday in Cloone when our senior girls take on Cloone in the first round of the league. A big local support is expected in Cloone to cheer them on and best wishes to the girls and managers Darren & Edel on Sunday and the rest of the year, And later that day you can see the Juniors in action down in Fenagh at around 2.30. Here we will have a mixture of youth and a few veterans like Catriona Edel & Mary Mc Brien showing the way so why not head for Fenagh after the Cloone game and cheer them on .
