This was a very enjoyable game played between two well matched teams and we came out victorious on the scoreline 1-13 to 0-12. Our next scheduled game is an away game against St. Mary's this weekend. A big thank you to John Paul Feely and the Shannon Gaels club for the use of their field for the game, we would also like to send best wishes to the Garadice Gaels player who got injured during the game. SENIOR LEAGUE
Our senior team got their Division 1 league campaign underway on Saturday evening last in Belcoo. In a very competitive game we emerged victorious against Kiltubrid on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-6. There were some very good performances throughout the team in this tough, fast game. Veteran Sean Boylan made a welcome return to goals. Team & Scorers: S. Boylan, D. Poinard, P. Maguire, T. INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE
In a busy weekend our second team made the short trip to Drumkeerin to take on the home side in the first round of the 2010 Division 2 League. We started of much the better side and clocked up a 1-06 to 0-3 lead going in at half time. However the team talk Drumkeerin got at half time seemed to inspire them to spring to life and they were the stronger team in the second half as they outplayed us and took their chances when presented to finish the game with a two point win 1-10 to 1-08. Team & Scorers: A. McDonald, J. Fox, S. Devaney, S. Kerrigan, G. Hickey, J. Gilmartin, M. Dolan, C. McEneaney, A Hickey (0-2), P. Corrigan, S. Watters, S. O'Hara (0-1), B. McDonald (1-1), R.
