Congrats

Congratulations to Maurice O'Donnell who was named County Senior
Handball Player of the Year at the recent County Board Awards. It is
an excellent achievement.

Well done

Well done to Jason Byrne who was part of the Leitrim Under 21 team
that won the Hasting Cup Shield against Longford on Saturday. In a
closely contested match Leitrim prevailed after extra time.

Minor Management

A special word to PJ Clancy, who along with Damien Eames from Leitrim
Gaels, has been named as manager for the Leitrim Minor Team. It is a
great reward for PJ who has been involved with numerous Underage
county teams over the last number of years.

Lotto

Lotto took place on Saturday night. Numbers drawn were 8, 18, 21 and
26. There was no winner. Ä20 winners were Darragh Coyle, Boyle; Clare
Rooney, Barry Wynne, Ann Kavanagh, Rosaleen Harkin. Thanks to Kevie
and Eamon.
Next draw is Saturday week. Co-Ordinators for Feb are Padraig Fallon,
Gabriel Flynn and Colm Clarke.


Dinner Dance

The club are delighted to announce that the highlight of the
Drumkeerin GAA social calendar returns soon. On Saturday the 6th of
March our dinner dance/presentation will take place in the Ramada
Hotel in Drumshanbo.
† † † †Both adults and children alike are invited to the event which will
see all of our underage county champions presented with their 2009
medals. In addition they will receive their honours from All-Ireland
winning Tyrone forward Stephen O'Neill who will be special guest on
the night.
† † † †Details of the event will be made public in the coming weeks but put
the date in your diary because it is sure to be a fantastic night.
Hopefully we will see club members and beyond present on the night.

Yearly Lotto
Yearly lotto ticket sellers will be visiting in the next couple of
weeks to sign up people for the 2010 subscription of Drumkeerin GAA
Yearly Lotto. The generosity people showed last year was greatly
appreciated by the club and we are hoping that will continue this
year.
† † † †Tickets are Ä50 and in addition to being entered into every draw of
the year, holders will also be entered into a confined monthly draw in
which they could win Ä100. If that was not enough they will received a
2010 Drumkeerin GAA supporter car sticker. Tweet
