Morrison calls for FBD League cancellation

Leitrim assistant manager John Morrison believes the Connacht Council should abandon the FBD League if matches are postponed again this weekend.
Leitrim have still not trained collectively in 2010 due to the severe weather conditions and Armagh-based Morrison feels the safety of players should be paramount in the GAA's thinking.
"If we were to call 20 car loads up from Dublin and Manonhamilton and Galway and one of them is killed or a bad accident, you would never live with it. I wouldn't take a risk with a young fella's life," he said in the Irish Daily Star.
"If a lot of matches are affected this weekend, somebody is going to have to be decisive and the supplementary competitions - I know there are sponsors - they'll have to cut them."
Leitrim are due to face GMIT at Cloone on Sunday.
