Captain John McKeon admits Leitrim weren't quite good enough on the day against Roscommon at Pairc Sean. The hosts and underdogs pushed the Rossies all the way but eventually succumbed to a narrow defeat, leaving their goalscorer crestfallen: "We're all disappointed. We thought we were going to win but it just wasn't to be. We just weren't good enough on the day. "We got a great start but we didn't keep up the intensity and pace, and made too many stupid mistakes. When you make those mistakes, you get punished. "It was definitely there for the taking - definitely. When we played we cut through them, but we didn't play with the same intensity the whole way through and slackened off and made too many mistakes." Tweet
