Kelly named at centre of Laois defence

Influential Laois defender Tom Kelly is selected at centre-half back on the Laois side for their local derby clash against Kildare in round three of the NFL.

This will be Kelly’s first league start of the season having broken his collar bone two months ago in an O’Byrne Cup game against Longford.

With Kelly returning to the pivotal role of centre-half back, Darren Rooney moves to the wing with Kieran Kelly being named on the subs’ bench.
