Borris-Kilcotton manager Ken Hogan is adamant that his young charges will benefit hugely from Sunday's county final draw against Rathdowney-Errill.

Many have described the game as one of the best in the county ever, while other have gone as far as stating it was one of the best ever seen.

Regardless, it was a good game of hurling as Hogan's young guns went so close to winning a first ever SHC title for the club.

The sides must do it all again and Hogan is convinced that the game will bring on his side leaps and bounds.

"They expended a lot of energy, but they're only youngsters and they love playing, I said to them, 'these are the days to be playing in, it's exciting to be playing, give it another go," said Hogan.

"Rathdowney-Errill will come out strong again, they know what it's all about but when they're young and vibrant, there is no fear there."
