The annual Laois GAA Golf Classic will take place at the Heritage Golf and Spa Resort on Monday July 6th. The event has raised some much needed funds for the county teams over the last few years and this year's event was launched by Laois hurling and football captains Brian Campion and Aidan Fennelly. Due to the nature of the current climate, the fee for this year's classic has been reduced by a third and now a team of four will cost 1,000 compared to 1,500 last year. Changes to this year's event include a shotgun start where many teams will be able to start at the same time with the day finishing with the presentation and four course meal. Tweet
