Clare girls on top

Clare ladies overcame a battling Donegal side by 2-10 to 0-15 to lift the NFL Division Two title at sun-kissed Cusack Park, Ennis.
First half goals from 16 year old Eimear Considine and top performer Aine Kelly helped propel the Munster ladies to a hard-earned 2-5 to 0-8 interval lead.
Donegal continued to give it their all in the second half and sub. Karen Guthrie kicked two fine points to put Clare under renewed pressure.
However Donegal just couldn't gain parity as Clare held out to claim a first Division Two title since 2000.
