Cavan captain Grainne McGlade has called for support from the Breffni County ahead of her team's TG4 All Ireland Senior Championship showdown with Down in Clones on Saturday (4.45pm). 

"Mens football has a huge following in Cavan and we'd like to get some of that. Social network is huge and it's up to ourselves to tell people about the games and get people to come to our games," says Grainne. 

"We hope to get support because senior football is at a new level, it's a new pace. It's becoming nearly like a professional sport."
