Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes
January 16, 2012The first County Board meeting of 2012 will take place on Tuesday night next the 17th of January 2012 @ 7:30pm in Parnell Park. All clubs are requested to have at least one representative in attendance.
There will be two County Board meetings in February the first is on the 14th of February @ 7.30pm in Parnell Park while the second is a special meeting to deal with gradings for 2012 and this will take place on Saturday the 18th of February from 2-6pm in Le Chéíle, Donnycarney Community Centre.
Affiliations for 2012:
The closing date for team / club affiliations for 2012 is this coming Tuesday the 17th of January; forms have been circulated to all clubs and are also available to download from our website on the club information page.
LGFA Official Guide:
The revised edition of the LGFA Official Guide (Rule Book) has been circulated to all clubs and again is available to download from our website. All club officers, officials, team mentors and indeed players are required to have a full knowledge of the rules and regulations of LGFA and therefore should familiarise themselves with the new rules and rule changes ahead of the new season.
Referees Course:
A Level 2 referees course for existing Dublin LGFA referees will take place on the 24th January / 31st January in Fingallians GAA club, 26th January and 2nd February in Clan Na Gael Fontenoy GAA club both commencing @ 7:30pm. Any referee who has not booked a place on the level 2 course in either venue are requested to do so ASAP as we need to finalise numbers please email Paul McLoughlin [email protected] or text Paul on 086-2503844.
GAA referees who wish to officiate Ladies football in 2012 are welcome to attend the Level 2 course but they must confirm their attendance to Paul at the above number / email address beforehand.
