TG4 Intermediate Championship - Semi Final (live on TG4)
Waterford v Cavan, Dr. Cullen Park (Carlow), 4.15, (P Kehoe)
These two teams have already met twice this year and Cavan won on both occasions including a Division 3 League Final victory. However early season form will count for little here and indeed Waterford come into this match unbeaten and in fine form scoring a total of 18-70 in their four group games. They also have two of the deadliest finishers in Ladies Football in Sinead Ryan and Michelle Ryan and you would imagine that Cavan's chances hinge on how well they cope with these two.
WATERFORD: C. Kearney, N. Dunphy, G. Enright, L. Hogan, L. Ryan, M. Foley, M. Wall, M. McGrath, E. Power, G. Keneally, M. Ryan, L. Wall, M. Delahunty, S. Ryan, A. Wall,
CAVAN: K. Baxter, J. Moore, C. Reilly, D. English, R. Murphy, A. Cornyn, G. McGlade, C. Murtagh, R. Crowe, C. Smith, R. O'Keefe, P. Crowe McCabe (capt), B. Boylan, B. Sheridan, A. Doonan
TG4 Senior Championship - Semi Final (live on TG4)
Dublin v Laois, Dr. Cullen Park (Carlow), 6.00, (K Delahunty))
Laois have done extremely well under Joe Higgins this year and bounced back from their Leinster Final defeat to Dublin with hard fought wins over Kildare and Ulster champions Monaghan last day out. Tracey Lawlor and Noreen Kirwan have been in excellent scoring form, but have they progressed enough to beat last year's All-Ireland finalists? Dublin have had a patchy year with relegation to Division 2 of the League, followed up by a Leinster Final win and progression to the Semi Final. But they are on an upward curve and with Sinead Aherne in sparkling form, expect that curve to continue.
DUBLIN: C. O'Connor, R. Ruddy, A. Cluxton, L. Kidd, S. McGrath, S. Furlong, G. Fay, D. Masterson, C. Barrett, M. Nevin, A. McGuinness, L. Peat, L. Davey, S. Aherne, E. Kelly
LAOIS: C. Dollard, G. Dunne, L. Muckian, A. Quigley, A. Taylor, P. Fogarty, M. McEvoy, A. Casey, A. O'Loughlin, T. Lawlor, N. Kirwan, Mary Kirwan, Martha Kirwan, G. Weston, M. Dunne.
TG4 Junior Championship - Semi Finals
Louth v Derry, Emyvale (Monaghan), 2.00, (J Niland)
Derry were runners up in the 2008 TG4 Junior Championship and this is the chance they've been waiting for to get back to that level. Michelle McAteer has been in superb form for them with a personal tally of 3-6 but Louth have also been in free scoring form in the group stages scoring goals for fun and their momentum will be hard to stop.
Wexford v Limerick, Freshford (Kilkenny), 2.00, (G Guinan)
Wexford contested the Intermediate All-Ireland Final as recently as 2007 and are keen to return to that level. But Limerick have been in fine form this year and will be hard to stop having reached the Division 4 League Final earlier this year. They haven't eased off since then, tearing up the Championship with Dymphna O'Brien in particular excelling.
