Blow for O'Loughlin / Gaels' Nolan
May 17, 2012
Injury is set to force Maurice Nolan out of action for the rest of the season.
The versatile O'Loughlin / Gaels clubman requires an operation due to wear and tear on his left hip.
The 24-year-old was one of the key men in the club's senior championship success two years ago but was absent last weekend as Dicksboro were beaten in the senior league.
Nolan faces surgery at The Whitfield Clinic in Waterford on May 28th and has been told that the recovery period could be up to six months.
This means he's unlikely to lay any more hurling in 2012.
