Cork's Eoin Cadogan breaks through the tackles of Kilkenny duo Willie O'Dwyer and Eoin Larkin during their NHL Division 1 encounter
Former Kilkenny All-Ireland winner Willie O'Dwyer has completed his transfer to Kerry.

O'Dwyer will line out for the Kerry hurlers in 2012, but he will not be transferring from Mullinavat where he will still play his club hurling.

The 27-year-old, who works in Tralee, will line out for the Kingdom in this year's NHL and Christy Ring Cup and he is delighted to have joined the fold.

"It's the best of both worlds. I will be able to play inter county hurling with Kerry, but I don't have to leave my own club, which I didn't want to do," O'Dwyer explained to the Kilkenny People.

"I am looking forward to the challenge. I was made feel most welcome when I joined the Kerry lads for training. It seems like a nice set up and John Meyler was very positive about it all."
