BE PART OF THE FINAL COUNTDOWN AT CROKE PARK!

Exciting new event to take place at HQ on the eve of the
GAA All-Ireland Hurling Final

A thrilling new addition to the GAA calendar has just been announced by Croke Park ahead of this year's Hurling All-Ireland Final.

On the eve of the hurling final, Saturday 4th September, fans are invited to soak up the atmosphere at the home of the GAA. Guests can mingle with past GAA legends such as Eddie Keher, Jimmy Doyle, John Power, Pat Fox, Daithí Regan, Johnny Pilkington and Liam Griffin, and get in to the spirit of the occasion by coming along to The Final Countdown, a unique pre-final event at GAA headquarters.

Newstalk Sport anchorman Ger Gilroy will act as MC on this special evening. Not only will he ensure that all present will get into the spirit of the occasion; the festivities will get underway with a drinks reception held at the GAA Museum where a Two Team cocktail will be served on arrival!

Guests will then enjoy a delicious three-course meal, which will be served in the Cusack Suite, overlooking the pitch, where all the action will take place the following afternoon. Great music and entertainment is guaranteed to get everyone in the mood for Sunday; whilst greats of the game will be passing on their perspectives on how things might unfold on the hallowed turf. There will also be a few surprises in store on the night including a chance to win All-Ireland Final tickets.

Croke Park really is the only place to be at 3.30pm on All-Ireland Final day, but what better way to celebrate this huge Irish occasion than to come along the evening before to enjoy a true GAA celebration. It promises to be the great start to a great weekend!

The Final Countdown at Croke Park will be back again on the eve of the All-Ireland Football final, Saturday 18th September, which will be hosted by Eoin McDevitt from Newstalk's 'Off the Ball' and will feature a star studded line up of football legends.
