Tipperary book in for final date
August 17, 2010

Tipperary's Seamus Callanan gives chase to Kilkenny's Michael Kavanagh during the 2009 All Ireland Hurling Final.
It will be Kilkenny v Tipperary for the second successive year in the GAA All-Ireland senior hurling final on Sunday, September 5.
Tipperary completed their recovery after a heavy Munster first round defeat by Cork in May when they beat Waterford by seven points in last Sunday's second All-Ireland semi-final. It's the first time they have reached the final in successive years since 1988- 89.
Kilkenny are back in the final for a fifth successive year as they pursue the recordbreaking fifth successive title, something that has never been previously achieved in either hurling or football.
It will be the 15th All-Ireland final meeting between the counties with Tipperary having won nine to Kilkenny's five of the previous fourteen.
