Tierney identifies McGeeney as future Armagh manager

Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney
Benny Tierney is convinced that his former Armagh team-mate Kieran McGeeney will return to manage his native county some day.
McGeeney, who captained the Orchard County to All-Ireland glory in 2002, is on the brink of guiding Kildare to a surprise All-Ireland final appearance and former goalkeeper Tierney said: "I think he will manage Armagh some time.
"I would go back and watch them again if 'Geezer' was manager. At the minute, I'm not going to travel to Belfast if there's something else on with the family. McGeeney brings that aura with him.
"Kildare have a chance to win the All-Ireland, and the only reason they've got a chance is because Kieran McGeeney is in charge."
Current Armagh captain Steven McDonnell said: "While he's with Kildare, he'll give them every opportunity to help them win an All-Ireland.
"I would say at some point down the line Armagh will want Kieran McGeeney back and whenever the chance comes, you'd like to think he'd snap it up."
