Kildangan and Maynooth served in a thrilling game of football in the 2nd round of the Senior Championship in Carbury Saturday evening. Kildangan secured a one point win; 0:10 to Maynooths 0:09 which should be enough to see us through to the next round.

Training continues Friday evenings 6:15 to 7:15. New members are always welcome.

Charity Match.

Jimmy Hyland and Declan Prendergast have done tremendous work in putting together two teams for the upcoming benefit game. In their wisdom they have decided to hand over the managerial reins to some more experienced mentors. Jimmy has secured the services of Kildare stalwart Glen Ryan, and not to be outdone Declan has managed to sign up ex-Meath manager Sean Boylan to manage his squad.

In addition to the game, there will be a kick fada competition, a penalty shoot out against Christy Byrne and various other attractions. The game is on this Saturday 28th in Kildangan, kick off at 3;00 pm. Come along and support this very worthy cause. Admission is free, however all donations will be gratefully accepted. Tweet
