Last years Under 14 Feile team made the return trip to Silverbridge Harps in Armagh over the weekend and had a memorable weekend. A packed and excited bus left Staplestown at 11am on Saturday arriving in the impressive Harps home grounds and were met with a very warm greeting. Tea and soup was followed by a tour on the facilities and the children were introduced to there host families. A very exciting match followed with the host team just prevailing on a scoreline of 3-13 to 1-13.That night a buffet and disco for the kids while the parents danced to traditional Irish music in the bar. As well as talented singers we as a club are also blessed with wonderful dancers. A trip next day to see the lilywhites and a tired bunch arrived home at 8.30 in Staplestown. Well done to Alice Casey and Peter Drennan for organising and most importantly keeping the GAA flame burning with Silverbridge.
