McGeeney relishing Orchard test

Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney knows that his current charges face a tough test against his native county at the weekend.

Following last Sunday's comfortable win over Donegal, the Lilywhites have moved into fourth position in the table and are right back in promotion contention.

However, Armagh will be keen to build on their win over Laois last Saturday night and with home advantage on their side, McGeeney acknowledges the task in hand.

"We have a tough game on Sunday. We're happy that we have four points now and as you can see it's a tight division. There must be five teams sitting up there with a point or nothing between them, so it could come down to score difference," said McGeeney.

"You want high pressure games though because that's what championship will bring you. We put the fellas under a fair bit of pressure to perform and they responded, which is what we wanted."
