Congratulations to Pat Bowden who won the Ä500 Lotto Jackpot on the 1st March.
The ticket was sold by Liam Kelly.
This weeks jackpot is now Ä300 and tickets are available from committee members.

Boxing
Castlemitchell GFC would like to Congratulate Eric Donavan on his fantastic 17-10 Victory
in the Senior Boxing Finals held in the National Stadium on Saturday.
Eric beat fellow club man David Oliver Joyce in the 60kg final, and also picked up the
fighter of the tournament award.
Congratulations Eric and well done.
 
St Patricks Day Parade
Great preparations are underway in the club for the St. Patrickís Day parade in Athy starting on the Kilkenny Road at 2pm. The club will be well represented with the Underage section, the Ladies & Mens teams and the Friends of Castlemitchell. Please come out and wave your Castlemitchell flag on this great occasion.
 
Geraldines Minors
The Minor's lost to Rathangan on Sunday 7th March on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-6.
Scorers on the day were Brandon Shaw 1-2,Paul McDonagh 0-2 and Nathan Robinson 0-2.
Good Performances also from Ciaran McDonagh, Jason Lambe, Shane Horgan and
Eddie Bingham.
They receive a bye in the next round, their next game is away to Nurney on the 21st March.

Seniors
The Senior team enjoyed their second win with a narrow victory over Caragh in the Dowling Cup 3rd round.
It finished Castlemitchell 1-9 Caragh 1-8 and the result keeps 
Castlemitchell in the hunt to reach the semi final of the Dowling Cup.
Scorers for Castlemitchell were Brendan Maher 1-2, Kieren Harris 0-2, Karl Harris, Tadgh Fennin, Joe Maher,
Fionn O'Rourke, Brendan Harris 0-1 apiece.
Their next scheduleded match is away to Ballykelly  in the 1st Round of the League on 27th March.

The ladies team are back in training and hoping to build on their fantastic year in 2009.
