St Kevins club notes
March 08, 2010St Kevins seniors played Leixlip at home in there second match in the Aldridge Cup and put up a very strong performance winning 2-10 to 0-15. Well done to the team on a great win.
St Kevins Minors played Ballykelly on Sunday 7th February and continued there good run with a win on a scoreline of 3-17 to 2-04. Good performances from Darren Fox, Declan Flaherty and Mark Mitchell. Next week 14th March away to Monastervin k.o 11.45.
Our U16's played Casterdermot away in there second match and again in a very exciting game they just lost out.
The U14 Feile on Sunday saw St Kevins draw with Carbury 3-07 to 2-10. This was a very exciting match and a last minute penalty saw Carbury snatch a draw. Man of the match for St Kevins was Mark o Connor backed up by Lee Dempsey with two goals and Dylan Casey in goals.
The 12's started there season on Saturday 6th March with St Kevin's 1 away to Cill Droichead at 3.30pm and St Kevins got there league off to the best possible start with a great win away to Celbridge. In a very exciting match best for St Kevins were Catherine Fallon, Niamh Whittaker, Graham Beirne, Colm Harris, Jamie Adams and man of match Stephen Bourke.
The Under 10's and U 12 St Kevins 2 matches were called off. Next match on 20/3/10 St Kevins 1 v Naas 2 and St Kevins 2 v Celbridge 2 for Under 12 and for U10 home to Ardclough 20/3/10 throw in 2.30pm.
Under age indoor training continues Friday nights for U 11 from 5.30 to 7.00 in St Kevins clubhouse. Training for U12 - U16 will take place in Scoil Ui Riada in Kilcock from 5.45 -7.00 every Friday night for the next eight weeks.

Last years U 14 Feile team can look forward to a trip to Silverbridge Harps in Armagh on the 13th March staying over to take in the Kildare Armagh league match on the Sunday. A bus is organised for the weekend away, we will be leaving at 8.00 am on Saturday morning from St Kevin's and a full weekend is planned with coach back in St Kevins approx 9.00 pm Sunday night. More details to follow.
