Moynihan to take charge of Kerry juniors
May 09, 2012
Sean Moynihan will be ratified as Kerry's new junior football manager at a county board meeting tonight.
Moynihan guided Spa to an AIB All-Ireland club IFC final appearance in 2010, having played for the Killarney club for many years before that, and will take charge of the Kingdom for their first time when they face Tipperary in the opening round of the Munster JFC at the end of the month. The winners of that tie will face Cork - who have appointed Paul McCarthy as their new manager - for a place in the provincial final on June 10.
Moynihan succeeds Currow's Kerry O'Sullivan, who spent two years at the junior helm.
