Kerry great Darragh O'Se
Kerry GAA legend Darragh Ó Sé enjoyed an eventful soccer debut last weekend.

The former All-Ireland winning Kerry captain, who announced his intercounty retirement in 2010 with six All-Irelands and four All Stars in the bag, lined out for Atletico Ardfert against AC Athletic in an Over 35s clash at Mounthawk Park on Friday night.

Ó Sé hit the net with a stunning second-half shot but was subsequently sent off for tangling with John Mike Dooley - the Christy Ring Cup All Star lining out for AC Athletic.

Other GAA stars on show for the losers in the intriguing junior soccer match included former Kerry footballer Barry O'Shea, Sigerson Cup winning captain Eamon Ferris and former Kerry hurler James McCarthy.

The winners' XI was made up mostly of ex-Kingdom hurlers.
