Croke's and Kerry star Colm Cooper
Kerry supporters are breathing a sigh of relief after Colm Cooper was given the all-clear to play for his club Dr Crokes in Saturday's Kerry senior club football final against Rathmore.
It was feared the Kingdom captain could miss the Munster SFC opener against Tipperary in just over two weeks' time after he suffered a recurrence of an ankle injury and was forced to retire during the first half of Crokes' semi-final victory over Laune Rangers last Sunday.
But the Killarney club have confirmed that the injury isn't serious and that he will be available for this weekend's club decider at Fitzgerald Stadium.
