Mickey Ned demands improvement

Kerry minor manager Mickey Ned O'Sullivan
Mickey Ned O'Sullivan insists his Kerry minor team has a lot of improving to do, despite comfortably disposing of Limerick's challenge last night.
The Kingdom cruised to a 3-9 to 0-5 victory in Austin Stack Park to qualify for a semi-final joust with Clare, but their manager warned: "We won't beat Clare on that performance tonight. That's the reality of it. We need to up our game and get serious. There was a lot of showboating by some of the players. We have to get more honest and play simple football. If we do that then we will do well. We are getting there."
He added: "I thought that Limerick played well in the first half but we played poor and our decision-making was poor. There was no bottle there.
"In the second half the players took more responsibility, we played better and got more scores. We're pleased with how we played in the middle of the field and everyone else seemed to up their game, and we finished strongly."
