Crestfallen Rathmore manager Denis Moynihan admits Kerins O'Rahillys were the better team in Saturday's senior club championship final.

Following the four-point loss, a dignified Moynihan conceded: "I would say that overall the best team won on the day. They are a very experienced team and are very strong.

"They got a lot of ball around the middle of the field, an area where we thought we might break even.

"But I must say that I am delighted with the way my young squad have performed. There are about 15 of them U21, and they will have learned from this." Tweet
