Fitzgerald happy with win

August 27, 2010
Kerins O'Rahillys manager Mark Fitzgerald was delighted to win the county senior club championship final.

The Tralee side beat Rathmore by 1-14 to 1-10 in Saturday's decider and O'Sullivan believes the result was what mattered most, despite the fact that his team blew hot and cold:

"Once you get out of a final with a win, you tend not to concentrate on the misses. Earlier in the year, we played Dingle and Austin Stacks and there was no bother with our finishing.

"We just have to go back to the drawing board and see where we made our mistakes.

"On another night we might have kicked another five points, which would have made it a very comfortable win, but you just have to roll with it."
