Kerry manager Jack O'Connor
Kerry football supremo Jack O'Connor has led the tributes to Darragh Ó Sé following his decision to retire from inter-county footballer, describing him as one of the greatest Kerry midfielders of all time.
The 34 year old Ó Sé has decided to bring to a close a 16 year career with the Kingdom and O'Connor was quick to pay the highest compliment to the masterful midfielder.
"It's obvious that Darragh is going to be a massive loss," O'Connor lamented. "He has been a collossus for Kerry football for so many years and players like Darragh only come along in a generation.
"He is right up there with the greatest midfielders that Kerry ever produced, up there with the likes of Jack O'Shea and Mick O'Connell so that says it all about the man."
