Kerry's Tadhg Kennelly
Kerry's injury crisis has gone from bad to worse with the news that Tadhg Kennelly has suffered a suspected broken hand.
The former Aussie Rules star sustained the injury during training on Tuesday night and will have what looks like a cracked bone on his ring finger assessed by a specialist in Dublin today.
Kennelly fell awkwardly during the session and was taken to hospital afterwards. If a break is confirmed, he will miss Saturday week's All-Ireland second round qualifier and possibly the rest of the championship.
Kingdom manager Jack O'Connor already has an extensive injury list on his hands, with Kieran Donaghy (foot), Marc O Se (hamstring), Killian Young (shoulder), Anthony Maher (ankle ligaments) and Seamus Scanlon all on the treatment table, while Paul Galvin is suspended.
On top of this, Mike Frank Russell and Eoin Brosnan have both opted off the panel, but Mike McCarthy is back in the fold after a three-year absence.
