Kerry remain on course to retain their All-Ireland 'A' Shield title after defeating Meath by 4-8 to 2-4 in Toomevara last Saturday. In a hard fought game, only Leanne Mangan separated the champions from their opponents at half-time, with the score-line at 1-3 to 0-3. However, in the second-half the Kngdom girls stepped it up a notch with Mangan bagging two more goals and Caroline McCarthy completing her tally of 1-4 to book a place in the final along side Mayo on June 27.
