Goresbridge Handball Club have picked up some nice new gear.

Goresbridge Credit Union recently presented the club with a new set of jerseys, which are sure to come in very useful over the coming months.

The club's coaching officer is none other than Kilkenny hurling legend DJ Carey and he was on hand to accept the gear from Credit Union chairman Edward Moran.

Club secretary John O'Neill and number of juveniles - wearing the new jerseys - also attended the official presentation.

John helped design the club's new crest, which depicts the Barrow bridge and the old alley that used to be down by the river. Tweet
