FOOTBALL
Our U-21 team play Williamstown in the Championship next Saturday at 2pm in Williamstown. We urge all to support this team. Come on the Stars!
Junior A and B teams will resume training for the new season at 7.30 on Friday night. The will be a shot meeting afterwards. Membership can be paid on the night.
U-10s resume training on Friday from 6-7 on the astro turf pitch.
REGISTRATION NIGHT
We will be having a Club Adult membership registration night in Junie's Bar on this Friday February 3rd at 8.30. There will be music on the night. €20 ordinary membership will entitle you to voting rights at the AGM and also you will be supporting your local Club. This years membership will be the same as last year.
SOCIAL
The Club Social will be on Friday March 10th at The Ard Ri House Hotel. This year we will be honouring P.J. Smyth and Johnny Carey. They were the first two All-Stars honoured in 1971. We will be presenting the Junior B panel with their medals and the Senior team with their John Dunne Cup medals. We also have the Minor, U-21, Junior 'B', Junior 'A' & Senior 'Player of the Year' awards
will be presented and 'The Philip Joyce Memorial Cup' for outstanding
contribution to Tuam Stars will also be announced.
ASTROTURF & SIGNAGE
Anyone wishing to book the astroturf pitch contact on 087 2788042. Our astroturf pitch is available for birthday parties etc.

CLUB LOTTO
This weeks Lotto draw in association with Tuam Shopping Centre held on Monday January 30th for a Jackpot of €18,500 in Reapy's. The numbers drawn were 1, 6, 15 and 17. No winner. The ten €25 winners were Will Saintey (Junie's), Owen Comer (Black Rose), Nicola Langan (John Dooley), Marianne Murphy (Leo's), Hilary Hare (Hare Inn), Tom Mitchell (Dick Fahy's), Derek Quirke (Quinn's), Paddy Kelly (The Bridge Bar). The Jackpot will be a massive €18,650 next Monday and the draw will be in The Rustic Vaults. The Club thanks everyone who support our Lotto each week. So get your ticket in time to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be purchased at a number of outlets in the town or from our Lotto agents. DEATHS
Recently the Club lost another link to our historic past when Paddy Gannon passsed away in Foxford. Paddy played on the 1954 team that won the County final. Paddy worked in Grogans in Shop Street for the time he spent in Tuam. He played county football for Galway, Mayo and won an All-Ireland Junior medal with Mayo in 1957.
The Club extends its sympathy to Tommy Varden, Kilcloghans and Nellie Kilkelly, The Curragh House on the death of their brother Joe Varden, Newmarket On Fergus, Co. Clare ; we extend our sympathy to Nora Gavin, Athenry Road on the death of her brother Sean O'Gorman, Portlaoise; We extend our sympathy to Martin & Harry Cassidy, Tuam on death of their brother Patrick J. Cassidy , Westport. May they rest in peace.
