Galway officials await ref's report

Galway officials are awaiting the referee's report before deciding what action to take following an ugly brawl which erupted during last Sunday's SFC quarter-final clash between Corofin and Caherlistrane.
Tomas Costello scored an injury-time free to earn a 1-9 to 2-6 draw for the three-in-a-row chasing Corofin men, but the game was marred by a brawl 12 minutes from the end after Caherlistrane's Eric Monahan and Kieran McGrath of Corofin were issued with straight red cards.
Moments later, a row broke out on the sideline involving players, officials and supporters and the game was held up before order was restored.
Galway football board chairman John Joe Holleran said the incident would be investigated and isn't ruling out the possibility of suspensions being imposed before next Sunday's replay at Tuam Stadium.
