Nicky Joyce has made a dramatic return to the Galway squad ahead of the Connacht SFC final against Mayo on July 19. The highly-rated forward was axed from Liam Sammon's squad for disciplinary reasons shortly after the Tribesmen's first round victory over London in Ruislip. However, after impressing for his club Killererin in a recent club game, he has been invited back into the panel, and is expected to make a strong bid for inclusion in the Connacht final starting XV after the Galway attack struggled to put Sligo away last Sunday.
