TUAM STARS Seniors defeated An Cheathr Rua in the Sweeney Oil League quarter- final at home last Thursday evening, 1-10 to 1-6. On Monday night we drew MÌche·l Breathnachs in the next round of the Senior Championship. Our Junior A team drew with Anach Cuain in the Dunleavy Engineering North Junior A Championship last Sunday in Menlough. It was 1-11 each at the end of normal time and 1-15 each at the end of extra-time. Minor team had a challenge game with Coillte M·ch on Monday evening. This squad will train this evening (Wednesday) at 7.30 U-14s were defeated by Maigh Cuilinn in the A Shield semi-final in Maigh Cuilinn last Tuesday week, losing 1-10 to 1-5. We thank all the players and the 12 lads who are u-13 this year for their efforts during the year, also my selectors Sean Rhatigan, Francis McWalter, Declan Marley and Mick O'Shea who gave me great support during this campaign.
