Lotto- There was no winner in our draw for a jackpot of 13,750, which was held in Ryders Bar. Numbers drawn were 7,8,12,13. We had five match 3's - Maeve Heneghan,c/o ARH: Marian Monahan, Donaghpatrick, Caherlistrane: Evelyn Lee, Ballyfruit, Headford: Eileen McGee: Kevin Monaghan, The Tavern. Promoters prize went to Eugine,c/o Corrib Bar.
Next weeks draw for a jackpot of 13,900 will be held in The Anglers Rest on Sunday June 7th. Tickets are
2 or 3 for 5 and can be bought from all shops and pubs around the town.
Junior A's played St James's in a challenge in Mervue Sunday morning. We were level at half time and led for most of the second half but conceded 1-1 in the last few minutes to lose 1-9 to 1-13.The championship first round is on June 20th/21st against Cortoon Shamrocks.
Junior C team played Clonbur in a challenge on Sunday in Headford. We led 0-7 to 0-6 at half time and won in the end 1-15 to 0-9. All ten subs got a run and it was a good display. Thanks to Teddy Kerins for refing. We were due to play Dunmore McHales away this weekend in the league but they have pulled out so the Junior A and C squads are playing a trial match on Sunday at 10.30am.
Minor training continues Monday and Thursday at 7.30pm. We play Williamstown at home on Saturday 20th at 6pm in a challenge and Westport away on Monday 22nd in a challenge at 7.30pm.
U-16's play Caltra in the shield semi final on June 23rd.
U-14's played Athenry away on Friday in the championship quarter final and won 2-6 to 0-9. They face Claregalway next Friday in the semi final.
U-12 training every Thursday at 6.15pm.
U-8 and U-10 training is every Monday at 6.30pm.
