Our Senior team were defeated by Maigh Cuilinn in the Clayton Hotel County League, Section B final on Saturday in Headford, 1-7 to 0-7. At half-time we went in 0-4 to 0-3 ahead but in the final minute of the match Maigh Cuilinn got the all-important goal to win by three points.This game was in the melting pot with each side giving their all, but it was not to be our day. We can take something out of this year's endeavours with promotion to 1A of the League. Keep the heads up lads; with a bit of luck we will in with a shout for better days ahead.
