Peter Canavan expressed satisfaction with his side's performance against London in their rearranged Allianz Football League Division 4 clash at Ruislip yesterday.

The Erne County gained a measure of revenge for their shock championship exit at the hands of the Exiles last summer when they powered to a 2-15 to 0-9 win, and their manager commented afterwards: "There are lots of aspects of our play to work on, especially in and around the middle, letting them dominate us for long periods of the game.

"Again, I'm happy with the work-rate and attitude of the players. We finished both halves very strongly and perhaps the scoreline was somewhat flattering.

"In the McKenna Cup, we tired badly towards the end of some of the games, whereas today, at the end of the first half and second half, we were getting scores, which pleased me." Tweet
