One of eleven players who withdrew from the Ernesiders' squad last year, London-based Sherry hadn't featured in any of new manager Peter Canavan's plans so far in 2012 due to his work commitments in the English capital.
Hopes remained that he could find a way to make himself available for the county but any such lingering hopes seem to have been knocked on the head now with the player's transfer from Roslea Shamrocks to TCG confirmed on the GAA's official transfer list on Thursday.
The switch comes as a blow to both club and county. Roslea are bidding for a third successive SFC title this year. Tweet
