FL4 round-up: wins for Limerick, Fermanagh and Leitrim

Limerick, Fermanagh and Leitrim all recorded crucial victories in the bottom flight.

In the day's early throw-in, Ian Ryan scored 1-6 as Limerick defeated London by 1-13 to 1-7 at the Gaelic Grounds. Despite the dismissal of Lorcan Mulvey, the Exiles were level at the break, 1-4 to 0-7, the goal coming from a Padraig McGoldrick penalty.

Fermanagh came from behind to beat Clare by 0-11 to 0-8 in their first outing of the year.

And goals in either half from Ray Cox and James Glancy (penalty) gave Leitrim a thrilling 2-9 to 0-13 win over Carlow at Dr Cullen Park.

Finally, in Saturday night's clash at Fraher Field, Waterford eased to a 0-21 to 0-2 victory over Kilkenny.
