McCabe quits soccer for Fermanagh

Fermanagh's Shane McCabe
Shane McCabe has followed Ryan McCluskey's lead by turning his back on soccer to resume his inter-county career with Fermanagh.
McCabe has left Portadown to link up with Peter Canavan's charges ahead of Sunday's NFL Division 4 opener against London, who shocked Fermanagh in last year's All-Ireland qualifiers. He was part of the Fermanagh team that reached the 2008 Ulster football final, only to lose to Armagh after a replay, but had concentrated on his soccer commitments with Glentoran and Portadown since then.
Ryan McCluskey was recently appointed Fermanagh captain after calling time on his soccer career with Dungannon Swifts.
