The Fermanagh football squad for the forthcoming national football league will be announced this weekend.

Over the past few weeks, Peter Canavan and his selectors have run the rule over many players in order to unearth some new talent and the former Tyrone footballer will be pleased with what he has seen.

"There will be a selection headache but that is a good problem to be faced with," team spokesman Ger Treacy told the Fermanagh Herald.

"The McKenna Cup has been used primarily in order to see what was available, to give players game time and that policy continued in last Sunday's semi final against Tyrone. Tweet
