Here's the players that stood out for us in yesterday's TG4 All-Ireland Ladies football final triple header at Croke Park...

1. Martina O'Brien (Cork)

The Clonakilty player kept a clean sheet in the senior decider.

2. Marie Ambrose (Cork)

In a close encounter, Ambrose and her defensive colleagues had to be on top of their game.

3. Muireann Ui Scanaill (Dublin)

The young full-back played her part in holding Cork to six points from play.

4. Linda Wall (Waterford)

Had the honour of lifting the Mary Quinn Memorial Cup following her team's victory.

5. Elaine Power (Waterford)

The Deise girls finished with 13 points to spare over Kildare in the intermediate decider.

6. Deirdre O'Reilly (Cork)

Five points from play was all Dublin could engineer against O'Reilly & Co.

7. Bronagh McGrane (Louth)

McGrane and her Wee County team-mates cruised to victory over Scotland in the junior final.

8. Rena Buckley (Cork)

Buckley and Briege Corkery have now accumulated an amazing tally of 32 All-Ireland senior medals between both ladies football and camogie.

9. Briege Corkery (Cork)

Along with Buckley, the long-serving Corkery laid the foundations for the Rebelettes latest success.

10. Paula Murray (Louth)

The Wee County's half-forward was on target with four points and scooped the junior final's 'player of the match' accolade.

11. Maria Delahunty (Waterford)

Scored six points, including three frees, as Pat Sullivan's charges saw off the Lilywhites challenge.

12. Carla Rowe (Dublin)

Finished as the Jackies top scorer with six points, five of which came from placed balls.

13. Valerie Mulcahy (Cork)

Her return of seven points (six from placed balls) was a key ingredient in Cork's winning formula.

14. Michelle Ryan (Waterford)

The daughter of Westmeath hurling manager Michael came off the bench to hit 1-3 against the Lilywhites.

15. Aileen Wall (Waterford)

A close match was anticipated in the intermediate decider but Wall, who top scored with 2-2, and her team-mates had other ideas.
