AIB club award winners announced

Kerry's Kieran Donaghy and Kilkenny star TJ Reid are among the AIB provincial club award recipients which were announced this morning.

Donaghy won the provincial footballer award for Munster after starring for Austin Stacks in their successful provincial campaign at the end of last year. The other football winners were Gary Sice in Connacht, Ger Brennan in Leinster and Patsy Bradley in Ulster.

TJ Reid scooped the Leinster hurling award for his part in Ballyhale Shamrocks' successful season. Kilmallock and Limerick star Paudie O'Brien took the Munster award, while recently-retired Down sharpshooter Paul Braniff was the Ulster winner after helping Portaferry to provincial glory.

Meanwhile, Cork's All-Ireland winning captain Anna Geary received the Munster club camogie award.
