Fresh from winning their first All-Ireland Sevens title in their home pitch of Glenalbyn last Saturday, Kilmacud Crokes overpowered holders Ballyboden St. Enda's in the Dublin SHC at Parnell Park last night.

Both teams had already qualified for the quarter-finals beforehand, but there was no let-up from Crokes who maintained their unbeaten record in Group 2 with an impressive 2-15 to 0-10 victory.

The sides were level on 0-6 at half-time, but second half goals from Barry O'Rorke and Ryan O'Dwyer saw Ollie Baker's charges run out comfortable winners.

In Group 4,  a dominant first half display laid the foundations for Crumlin's 1-22 to 1-14 victory over Ballinteer St. John's. Crumlin had led by 0-13 to 0-4 at the interval and Adam McGreal's second half goal put them out of sight.

In the same Group, late points from Tom Devlin and Jesse Kennedy earned St. Jude's a 0-17 each draw with Lucan Sarsfields. The result means both teams progress to the quarter-finals.
