Brennan: Tyrone are moving well

Dublin's Ger Brennan believes Tyrone are in good nick at the moment.

The Red Hands were the only team to beat the Dubs in the group stage of the league and the two sides meet once more in Sunday's Division One final at Croke Park. Dublin defender Brennan has been impressed by Mickey Harte's men so far this year:

"I think they're moving very well at the moment, and in the semi-final they showed great intensity and great workrate," he told gaa.ie. "Their finishing was quite accurate as well so I'd rate them very highly, as would everyone else in the country.

"For large parts of the game against us, they opened us up at times when they ran at us. That's something we're going to have to work on defensively going into this game.

"I wouldn't be overly caught up in the timeframe since Dublin last won the league, personally. For me, I'm just focusing on the team performance and trying to get the best out of ourselves and the big game really is in the championship.

"If you ask any sportsman in any code, all you want to do is get to finals. For us, that's O'Byrne Cup, Allianz League or All-Ireland finals, and you want to win them so if we don't win the game it will be quite disappointing, but our ultimate aim is the championship here on June 1st. But it certainly would be nice to win on Sunday."
